Admission Rates
Admission to Egypt, Gift of the Nile includes a state-of-the-art audio tour, available in both adult and children’s versions. Your ticket allows you access to the third and fourth floor galleries as well.
$10 Adults
$7 Children ages 7–12, seniors 62 and over
Free Children 6 and under

How to Purchase Tickets
Members do not need tickets to the exhibition.
Nonmembers may purchase advance tickets through Ticketmaster beginning Friday, September 11. Tickets can be purchased on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at (206) 292-ARTS or visiting any Ticketmaster Ticket Center including:

The Wherehouse
Tower Records and Video

After Thursday, October 15, the opening day of the exhibition, tickets may also be purchased at the Seattle Art Museum Admission Desk.

Group Tickets
Discounts are available for groups of thirty or more adults when tickets are purchased in advance. For more information, call (206) 654-3196. Group tickets do not include a docent tour of the exhibition.

Free Days
Paid admission is required at all times for Egypt, Gift of the Nile. However, on Free First Thursdays admission to Egypt, Gift of the Nile will be discounted to:
$7 Adults
$5 Children ages 7–12, seniors 62 and over
Free Children 6 and under. This discount also applies to seniors on First Fridays.

Unlimited Free Admission
Seattle Art Museum members receive unlimited free admission to the exhibit with priority access over general ticket holders—no waiting in long lines!!! Advance tickets are not required; simply present your current membership card at the membership desk in the First Avenue Lobby.

Private Viewing Hours
Mondays, October 19, 1998–January 4, 1999, 3–8 pm
We are pleased to offer Members-Only Mondays. Avoid the crowds and visit the exhibition while the Museum is closed to the general public.

Please note: Members-Only Monday viewing will not be available on Monday, November 16. That evening, the Museum will host the first-ever SAM Family Gala. Members and their families are invited to purchase tickets for this special event! For more information about the Family Gala, please call our Box Office at (206) 654-3121. Members-Only Mondays will resume the following week, Monday, November 23, and continue through the remainder of the exhibition.
