Balabish

Located on the east bank of the Nile in southern Egypt, Balabish is the site of a cemetery dating mostly from Egypt’s New Kingdom and later. On exhibit from Balabish is the Vase in the Shape of a Lutenist (see cat. no. 79) and a shabti (see cat. no. 82a).
