Gurob

Located west of the Nile in northern Egypt, Gurob was the site of a town and a cemetery from Egypt’s Ptolemaic Period. Objects on exhibit from Gurob are the Head of a Middle Kingdom Official (see cat. no. 37), the Stone Vase (see cat. no. 69b), and the Inscribed Mummy Bandages (see cat. nos. 86a-c).
