Egypt, Gift of the Nile Lesson Plan

The exhibition Egypt, Gift of the Nile celebrates the abundance of the lives and artistry of the ancient Egyptians. The Seattle Art Museum has developed an extensive Curriculum Resource Unit in conjunction with the exhibition. It is available on-line for teachers everywhere who wish to create lesson plans about the art and culture of ancient Egypt.

You can download the entire Curriculum Resource Unit as a Microsoft Word document. This document comes complete with introduction, methodology, lesson plans, maps, and images. If you are on a PC and do not have Microsoft word, you can view and print the document using Word converter program from the Microsoft web site.
