Sitepehu, overseer of priests

On his life-size sandstone statue Sitepehu has had his name, titles, epithets, and virtues inscribed. He was an Overseer of the Priests in the Thinite nome (district) during the New Kingdom. As Overseer, Sitepehu would have managed other priests, overseen the maintenance of the temple estate, monitored the daily rituals to the gods, and provided judicial advice.
