Learn American history through the visual arts! Using textbook examples of American art, Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness: American Art 1660–1893 from the Yale University Art Gallery, offers an overview of American history and culture, from the beginning of European settlement through the end of the nineteenth century. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness will enhance any classroom’s study of American history. Request a guided tour.
