Led by local artists, Art in Action workshops are unique opportunities designed to give young visitors creative experiences with multiple means of expression including painting, printmaking, dance and music. These fun-filled 60-minute studio sessions are inspired by nature, the cityscape, and the sculpture found at the park. Art in Action workshops are open to any group of school-age students, including groups from camps, clubs and after-school programs. Register today

Color Your World (grades pre K–12)

With a paintbrush and watercolor palette in hand, students experiment with color and learn to look more closely at nature and sculpture.

Students use paper, paint and recycled materials to construct their own miniature sculpture parks and learn about the Olympic Sculpture Park’s design.

Clay Creation (pre K–12)

Students use the sculptures in the Olympic Sculpture Park as inspiration to create their own clay sculptures.

A Tree Grows in the Olympic Sculpture Park (4–12)

Explore the Neukom Vivarium; study and be inspired by a real nurse log. Students make nature drawings and transfer them to copper relief panels.

Visit On Your Own: Self-Guided Visits

Teachers are encouraged to lead their own groups through the Olympic Sculpture Park by scheduling a self-guided visit. The Olympic Sculpture Park is large; we recommend at least one-hour for a self-guided visit. The Wyckoff Teacher Resource Center offers a wide variety of resource materials to help you create a tailored visit that supports your classroom curriculum. A map and suggested on-site activities will be included with your tour confirmation letter. Request a self-guided visit today.
