Fleeting Beauty: Japanese Woodblock Prints

April 7–June 17, 2010
Wednesday–Thursday, 10:15 am

Grades 4–12: 2-hour program (tour + art workshop)

Tour: Explore the play between delicate ink lines and rich blocks of color in this collection of Japanese woodblock prints from some of the most renowned Ukiyo-e artists of the 18th and 19th centuries.

Art Workshop: Students create a relief print using Japanese woodblock prints as their inspiration.

Do-It-Yourself: Self-Guided Visit
