TRC Borrower Benefits

The TRC offers interdisciplinary, classroom-ready programs and materials to help integrate art into any classroom. Register as a borrower with the TRC for FREE and:

• Check out some of our 4,000 curriculum guides, books, posters, videos and CDs, as well as an extensive collection of video and slide kits from the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Search the TRC online catalogue for detailed listings.
  
  
• Borrow one of SAM’s Outreach Suitcases containing artifacts that students can handle, examine and discuss.
  
  
• Get help conducting online research, browsing educational sites like ARTstor, scanning materials, or downloading lesson plans and art images. TRC volunteers and staff can also answer questions about scheduling school tours at SAM and participating in SAM’s educator programs.
  
  
• Receive a Complimentary Educator’s Pass for a visit to either SAM Downtown or the Seattle Asian Art Museum when you register with the TRC.
  
  
• Take advantage of free parking and a drop box for returning materials 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  
  
• Receive 20% off membership to the Seattle Art Museum and 12% discount at SAM SHOP. Proof of current employment as an educator is required. Note: SAM membership is not required to become a TRC borrower.
