Listen at Home or at SAM

SAM Audio offers audio commentaries about the collections and select special exhibitions at the Seattle Art Museum. Some of the included objects are currently on view, while others are not. Our audio programs are available using your own cell phone and online.
- At Home: Listen to audio before or after a visit to SAM to learn more about the works in the galleries.
- At SAM: Use your own cell phone to hear commentary and unique perspectives by curators, artists, educators and public figures on works of art in SAM's permanent collection. SAM Audio, the permanent collection audio guide, is free with admission, except for the use of your minutes. The permanent collection audio guide is also available to download to your MP3 player.

Tips
- For instructions, press the # key.
- Interrupt any audio stop by entering another number and the # key.

European Masters
Your ticket to Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Gainsborough: The Treasures of Kenwood House, London and European Masters: The Treasures of Seattle (on view February 14–May 19, 2013) includes a FREE audio tour with commentary about selected works in the exhibitions. Hear insights and commentary from curators and artists as they examine select works.

Special Audio Guide for Low & No Vision Visitors
There is a second audio guide on the wand that offers extended visual descriptions of the same objects for visitors who are blind or partially-sighted (or anyone seeking an in-depth guided look at the objects). To use this guide, look for the text that says “low / no vision” near select works of art. Enter the number next to this text and then press the green play button.
