Supporting SAM

The Seattle Art Museum would like to thank the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) for its support this year of both the museum's K–12 and teen programming. The Institute of Museum and Library Services is the primary source of federal support for the nation's 123,000 libraries and 17,500 museums.Their generous grants to SAM are employing teaching artists to work with students and teens, both in and out of school, and are helping us evaluate the effectiveness of our endeavors. SAM is proud to be among a select number of museums that IMLS partners with to support innovation, lifelong learning, and cultural and civic engagement.
