| The Seattle Art Museum film program, the longest- running nonprofit film venture in the Northwest, presents a wide range of series and special events year-round. Traditional offerings like our film noir series and the Twin Peaks Festival/David Lynch Night are supplemented by screenings celebrating an international spectrum of directors, actors and genres. The museum also hosts film premieres and has been visited by cinematic luminaries such as Michael Powell, Thelma Schoonmaker, Werner Herzog, Andy Warhol, Seijun Suzuki, Patricia Hitchcock, Mike Judge and Ray Harryhausen. |
