Winter in the Park: Kids' Saturdays

Seattle is surrounded by magnificent mountains—the Cascades, Olympics, and Mount Rainier! Explore views from the Olympic Sculpture Park and consider Tony Smith’s Wandering Rocks. Bring your family for a fun-filled afternoon learning about art and the environment at the park.

SAM Creates, 11 am–2 pm
Build your own mountain or rock with artist Malia Peoples. Grab a cardboard box from home and get creative turning it into a mountain-vehicle for an indoor “drive-in” movie.

Park Adventure, noon
Put on your rain gear and explore the park outside with a community partner!

Story Time, 12:20 pm
Grab a blanket and a snack to cozy up for a quick story about our environment!
