Become a member to receive SAMconnects, a bimonthly guide to exhibitions, programs and special member events happening at SAM throughout the year.

Nonmembers can sign up for a free monthly enewsletter, which provides you with the most up-to-date information on what is happening at SAM. Dedicated email newsletters also exist for SAM members. When you become a member, please be sure to provide us with your email address to ensure that you get access to special monthly member events and benefits only found in SAM’s monthly Member Enews.

Experience the living art of chado, “the way of tea,” in the three-mat tearoom, Ryokusuian ("Arbor of Green Reflecting Waters"). Designed and built by the Urasenke Foundation of Kyoto, the teahouse on the Third Floor of SAM Downtown is the setting for bimonthly presentations by the Urasenke Foundation that include the service of tea.

I'm interested in having my own special event at one of the three locations.

Plan your next event at SAM Downtown, the Seattle Asian Art Museum or the Olympic Sculpture Park. A variety of stunning spaces are available to serve small and intimate gatherings as well as large gala celebrations.
