Creatively Speaking: The Artist's Point of View
Pure Beauty: Contemporary Art from Korea

Contemporary abstract painter Chun Sung-woo and ceramic artist Park Young-sook will discuss the pure and beautiful forms they create through their work by incorporating a minimal color palette and shape, inspired by their Neo-Confucian, Choson sensibility. The work of the two artists is featured in the exhibition Inspired Simplicity: Contemporary Art from Korea.

The Creatively Speaking series provides a forum for artists to explain the philosophies underlying their work and for audiences to ask the questions they rarely have a chance to ask.
