Through a stunning display of ancient, historic and contemporary works of art, SAM's fall exhibition S'abadab—The Gifts: Pacific Coast Salish Art and Artists provides a glimpse into the daily and ceremonial lives of the Salish First People of Washington State and British Columbia. This one-day professional development workshop features interdisciplinary presentations and hands-on demonstrations by Native educators and museum staff that encourage teachers to think more deeply about issues such as identity, human relationships with the land, cultural history, material culture and much more.

Workshop participants receive teaching materials, four Washington State Clock Hours and lunch.
