SAM Talks
Join curator Barbara Brotherton for an overview of S'abadeb—The Gifts: Pacific Coast Salish Art and Artists. This is the first-ever exhibition devoted to the art of Coast Salish peoples. Nurtured through a collaborative process involving a committee of Salish community members and other scholars, the exhibition presents side-by-side a wide range of arts from ancient times to the present, lent from international collections. Bringing together some of the most compelling thinkers on a given cultural subject, Pivotal Perspectives is a timely and innovative forum that addresses pressing issues in art and society. Free for SAM members.
Adults: $6.00 To purchase tickets for this event, call the Box Office at 206.654.3121 or email boxoffice@seattleartmuseum.org. Tickets will be sold on-site at the event (cash only). Check out SAM on Twitter and
