Climate Day for Kids

Join our Earth Day celebration at the Olympic Sculpture Park! Learn about climate change and what actions your family can take to reduce your carbon footprint. Create green art using recycled materials, and explore games and displays from SAM partners.

Performances:
12:30 pm—Shrinking Bigfoot assembly (Seattle CAN)
1:15 pm—Puppet Show (CoolMom.org)
1:45 pm—Storytelling (CoolMom.org)
2:30 pm—Volts and Jolts demo (Pacific Science Center)

Activity stations by:
CoolMom.org, Feet First, Pacific Science Center, Puget Sound Clean Air Agency, Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Climate Action Now and King County Metro, Sustainable Belltown/SCALLOPS, TASTE at SAM, and University of Washington Botanic Gardens.

Activities for all ages. Carpooling and alternative transportation are encouraged! Event will be held indoors in the event of inclement weather.

Free and open to the public. No registration required.
