First Friday Lecture Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness March 6, 2009 11 am–noon Plestcheeff Auditorium

Patricia Junker, SAM’s Ann M. Barwick Curator of American Art, and Julie Emerson, Ruth J. Nutt Curator of Decorative Arts, share the stage, presenting insights into Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness, an exhibition of works of art and period objects that are our cultural touchstones.

Learn more about SAM’s collections and exhibitions from curators and local experts. These morning lectures are scheduled on the first Friday of every month, when seniors age 62 and over are admitted to SAM installations for free and to special exhibitions at a reduced price.
