Community Art Installation 2009 Congressional Art Competition Reception April 25, 2009 1–5 pm Arnold Board Room (entire)

In partnership with the 2009 Congressional Art Competition, SAM hosts a special Saturday afternoon reception. All are welcome!

Celebrate the high school artists from Washington State who have been selected for the Congressional Art Competition: An Artistic Discovery. Now in its 27th year, this nationwide annual art competition is coordinated by members of Congress. The winning piece of art from each participating congressional district will be displayed in a national exhibition in the Cannon Tunnel, a pedestrian walkway leading to the U. S.
