Creatively Speaking: The Artist's Point of View
Lynda Benglis
June 25, 2009
7–8 pm
Plestcheeff Auditorium

CANCELLED

Lynda Benglis examines and deconstructs the physicality of painting through a range of mediums, including her poured latex and foam works created during the late 1960s. In conjunction with the opening of Target Practice: Painting Under Attack 1949–78, Benglis speaks on her influential body of work and the way it challenges artistic conventions.

The Creatively Speaking series provides a forum for artists to explain the philosophies underlying their work and for audiences to ask the questions they rarely have a chance to ask.
