SAM Creates: Participate in the Process The Experience Painting Project with Matthew Offenbacher July 25, 2009 1–3 pm Alvord Art Lab

The artists featured in Target Practice: Painting Under Attack 1949–78 escaped the conventions of painting by questioning, dismantling and destroying the medium. Participants in this two-hour workshop will investigate a range of approaches to painting with Seattle-based artist Matthew Offenbacher.

Led by contemporary artists, these workshops delve into the artistic, practical or quirky processes at work in our daily lives.
