Temporary Display
Sea Level Rise and the Seattle Shoreline
October 10–October 24, 2009
Olympic Sculpture Park


SAM has partnered with the University of Washington's College of the Environment and Program on Climate Change to create a visual representation of sea level rise on the Olympic Sculpture Park's Z-path and pocket beach. Based on scientific models, the display demonstrates the impact of climate change on future shorelines. On October 24, the International Day of Climate Action, the display closes with a day of service at the Olympic Sculpture Park.
