Known primarily as a sculptor, Alexander Calder was also a prolific jeweler, producing over 1,500 pieces throughout his career. Participants in this workshop will explore the fundamentals of Calder’s approach to jewelry and create several pieces from copper and found objects using wire-bending and hammering techniques.

Led by contemporary artists, these workshops delve into the artistic, practical or quirky processes at work in our daily lives.
