Alexander Calder is one of the most well-known sculptors of the 20th century. Michael Darling, the Seattle Art Museum’s Jon & Mary Shirley Curator of Modern & Contemporary Art, will give insights into Calder’s work and the breadth of sculptures you will find at the exhibition, which covers his career from the late 1920s to the 1970s. Alexander Calder: A Balancing Act is open through April 11, 2010, at SAM Downtown.
