In conjunction with Kurt, SAM Films will highlight a selection of documentaries and films that chronicle Kurt Cobain’s career and the grunge phenomenon in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Essential documentary Hype! explores the entire ecology of Seattle’s grunge-culture scene, from gloomy weather to obscure garage bands to corporate marketers to the international explosion of the "Seattle lifestyle." Features Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and a cast of hundreds.
