Educator Workshop Perspectives on Picasso: Concepts for the Classroom October 23, 2010 10:30 am–3:30 pm Arnold Board Room (entire)

This hands-on workshop will take a thematic look at Pablo Picasso’s art and practice, building connections to both SAM’s global collection and local and national learning standards. Participants will explore the exhibition Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris, engage in creative activities, participate in collaborative group discussions and develop activities for their own classroom. Workshop participants will receive a copy of SAM’s Educator Resource Guide for the Picasso exhibition, entrance to the galleries, four (4) Washington State Clock Hours and lunch.
