First Friday Lecture
Behind the Scenes: The Real Story of the Quileute Wolves
October 1, 2010
11 am–noon
Plestcheeff Auditorium

Living on a one-square mile reservation in La Push on the Olympic Peninsula, this small nation was thrust into notoriety when they were featured as werewolves in the popular Twilight books and movies. Learn about their “true” wolf ancestry from rare art works like masks, headdresses, musical instruments and carvings.

Admission is free to members and adults 62 and over on the first Friday of every month. For other visitors, this lecture is included with museum admission.
