First Friday Lecture: Picasso in America

Patricia Junker, Ann M. Barwick Curator of American Art, will discuss Picasso’s influence on American artists and the public acceptance of their and Picasso’s themes and forms.

Following the lectures held at SAM, at 12 noon, a docent-led gallery talk in the appropriate exhibit will be available to those attendees that are interested. Also, at 1:00 pm following the lectures held at SAM, The Ladies Musical Club will present an hour long program of classical music performed by club members and guests.

Admission is free to members and adults over the age of 62 on the first Friday of every month. For other visitors, this lecture is included with museum admission.
