Behind the Scenes: The Real Story of the Quileute Wolves
October 24, 2010
noon–12:30 pm
Third Floor Galleries

The wolf is central to the cultural beliefs of the Quileute Native Peoples of coastal Washington, and wolf imagery is prominent in their art forms. For better or worse, the Quileute were thrust into a media firestorm with the publication of the Twilight books and the release of the first Twilight movies. During this 30-minute gallery talk explore artworks that represent Quileute wolf mythology while diving more deeply into the complicated story of the Quileute and Twilight.
