SAM in the Studio at Hotel 1000 Preview of Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musee National Picasso, Paris September 22, 2010 5–6:30 pm Hotel 1000, 1000 First Avenue

This fall, join is for a special “Picasso edition” of the popular In the Studio with SAM series at Hotel 1000. During the months of September and October, look for presentations by SAM curators, who will reveal the landmark exhibition Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National, Picasso from a range of fascinating perspectives.

On September 22, get a sneak preview of the show with SAM’s Chiyo Ishikawa, who co-curated the exhibition from the esteemed Musée Picasso in Paris. Ishikawa will give you a first glimpse at the works that will be on view beginning October 8 during her informal talk, and there will be plenty of time for questions and discussion, while BOKA Kitchen + Bar serves up complimentary hors d’oeuvres and $3 glasses of house wine (proceeds go to SAM).
