SAM in the Studio at Hotel 1000 Picasso’s 'Primitivism': the active volcano of 20th century art October 27, 2010 5–6:30 pm SAM

This fall, join is for a special “Picasso edition” of the popular In the Studio with SAM series at Hotel 1000. During the months of September and October, look for presentations by SAM curators, who will reveal the landmark exhibition Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National, Picasso from a range of fascinating perspectives.

On October 27, SAM’s Curator of Art of Africa and Oceania, Pam McClusky, will give an informal talk looking at the influence African art had on Picasso’s work. Of course, there will be plenty of time for questions and discussion, and BOKA Kitchen + Bar will serve up complimentary hors d’oeuvres and $3 glasses of house wine (proceeds go to SAM).
