SAM Talks
How do artists elicit change in the communities they work, challenge assumptions about marginalized communities and foster opportunities for profound personal transformation? Inspired by Nick Cave, whose original Soundsuit was created in response to the 1991 Rodney King beating, the Central District Forum and SAM present a panel discussion on artists and social change. Following this program, meet up at the Triple Door's Musicquarium Lounge (216 Union Street) for drinks and lively conversation with SAM's ReGroup Advisors.
Members: $5.00 Tickets may be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets. Check out SAM on Twitter and
