My Favorite Things tours bring some of the most opinionated and fascinating artists, cultural producers and community figures into the galleries to discuss their favorite works of art. During Beauty & Bounty and Reclaimed, tour leaders illuminate works in both the special exhibitions and permanent collections. This week's tour features Seattle-based photographer Nealy Blau.
Blau's recent book of landscapes in Natural History Museums, Elsewhere, examines the elusive boundaries between reality and fiction, nature and artifice. She will be giving a short tour of her favorite photographic images from the Beauty & Bounty and Reclaimed exhibitions.
Free with museum admission. Tour meets at the entrance to Beauty & Bounty.
