Lovecraft's Visions
October 7–October 9, 2011
Plestcheeff Auditorium

The work of the master supernatural writer H.P. Lovecraft has inspired generations of filmmakers to capture his unique brand of cosmic horror on the big screen.

Lovecraft’s Visions presents more than a dozen films, long and short, that adapt some of Lovecraft’s most famous stories, including Roger Corman’s classic The Haunted Palace (1963); the director’s cut of Dan O’Bannon’s The Resurrected (1992); and the recent independent film The Whisperer in Darkness (2010).

Lovecraft’s Visions will also include panel discussions on Lovecraft’s life, work and legacy, drawing upon the expertise of several noted scholars and writers.

Tickets will be available through Brown Paper Tickets and Scarecrow Video, with a discount for SAM members. For more information please visit the Lovecraft's Visions blog.
