Writing About Art: Asian Art Across Time and Place Educator Workshop November 5, 2011 10:30 am–3:30 pm Nordstrom Art Studio

Interested in an art-making workshop designed just for K–12 educators? SAM’s Asian art collection spans countries, cultures and time periods. In this interactive workshop, learn current best practices and gain adaptable tools to help integrate Asian art and culture into your classroom. Explore the Luminous: Art of Asia exhibition at SAM Downtown, hear from experts, learn about the art of calligraphy and ink painting and create your own works of art using traditional and modern techniques.
