First Friday Lecture Luminous: The Art of Asia December 2, 2011 11 am–noon Plestcheeff Auditorium

Catherine Roche, exhibition curator, and Liz Brown, Associate Conservator, discuss Luminous: The Art of Asia, featuring works from across the Asian continent. Their joint lecture will highlight several of SAM's greatest works and will include fascinating findings from recent conservation efforts. Following this program, the Volunteer Association will host their annual holiday tea for the attendees.

Admission is free to members and adults over the age of 62 on the first Friday of every month. For other visitors, this lecture is free with museum admission.
