The Scent of Green Papaya (1994). Digital projection, 104 min. This three-film series compliments the pan-Asian exhibition Luminous: The Art of Asia. Tran Anh Hung’s The Scent of Green Papaya, in which a young Vietnamese village girl grows up in Saigon, is an enchanting meditation on nature and the human spirit at work and in love.
