Guest exhibition curator and art historian Barbara Johns discusses Painting Seattle: Kamekichi Tokita and Kenjiro Nomura, two Seattle artists known for their realist style of landscape painting. Characteristics of the Northwest School can be found within their work, which contributes a distinctive Issei (Japanese-American immigrant) perspective to American art.

Admission is free to members and adults over the age of 62. For other visitors, this lecture is free with museum admission.
