SAM Talks
Guest exhibition curator and art historian Barbara Johns discusses Painting Seattle: Kamekichi Tokita and Kenjiro Nomura, two Seattle artists known for their realist style of landscape painting. Characteristics of the Northwest School can be found within their work, which contributes a distinctive Issei (Japanese-American immigrant) perspective to American art.
Admission is free to members and adults over the age of 62. For other visitors, this lecture is free with museum admission. Check out SAM on Twitter and
