This keynote program is the opening event for the University of Washington (UW) Art History graduate symposium. Leading scholars Dr. Caroline Vercoe, Head of Art History Department, Senior Lecturer, The University of Auckland and Dr. Carol Ivory, Professor and Associate Dean, College of Liberal Arts, Washington State University, Pullman, will discuss Polynesia then and today.

The following day graduate students will present papers at UW and SAM.
