My Favorite Things tours bring some of the most opinionated and fascinating artists, cultural producers and community figures into the galleries to discuss their favorite works of art. During Gauguin and Polynesia: An Elusive Paradise, guests will illuminate works in the special exhibition and permanent collection for these engaging tours. This week's tour features Seattle artist Donald Fels.

Fels holds a B.A. in Art and American Studies from Wesleyan University, and an M.A. Education with Honors from City University where he was the Board of Governor’s Presidential Scholar. He has been a Fulbright Fellow to Italy and a Fulbright Senior Research Scholar to India. His work has been exhibited at museums including the Seattle Art Museum, Chicago Cultural Center, Tacoma Art Museum, Bellevue Art Museum, Henry Art Gallery, Bologna’s Contemporary Art Museum and Boston’s Institute for Contemporary Art.
