Art Hit
Artist Susan Robb
July 12, 2012
6:30–7 pm
PACCAR Pavilion

Inspired by references to song lines found in SAM’s exhibition Ancestral Modern: Australian Aboriginal Art from the Kaplan & Levi Collection, Seattle artist Susan Robb leads tour-goers through different landscapes in the Olympic Sculpture Park, working with them to create haikus. Similar to songlines that have historically helped indigenous Australians navigate vast distances, haikus are poetry of place. Tour meets in the PACCAR Pavilion.

The evening will also feature bites from Seattle’s best food trucks and wines and more available for purchase from TASTE Café from 5–8 pm.

Free and open to the public.
