Morning sessions feature illustrated talks by two textile scholars: An Artisan’s View of Central Asian Ikat by Barbara Pickett, University of Oregon; and Brilliance in a Desert Land: Central Asian Ikat 1800–2012 by Mary Dusenbury, Research Curator, University of Kansas. After lunch on your own, look at exhibition textiles with curator Pam McClusky, and discuss more examples.
