Family Festival Ancestral Modern: Australian Aboriginal Art from the Kaplan & Levi Collection July 29, 2012 10 am–3 pm Entire Building

Experience art making, creative tours for kids and exciting performances inspired by Australian Aboriginal art and culture. All children 12 and under receive FREE admission to the SAM galleries when accompanied by a paying adult. No registration required.

• Enjoy dancing to some of the greatest songs in rock and roll history as performed by School of Rock.
• Enjoy listening to America's most rockin kindie band The Not-Its!
• All day art making activities will include: re-imagined landscapes, noise makers, and body art!
• Create your own music with a drumming workshop with Eduardo Mendonça of Show Brazil!
