W.M. Hunt, collector, curator, consultant and author of The Unseen Eye: Photographs from the Unconscious, brings to SAM a special presentation based on a lifetime of looking at, and responding to, photographs. He discusses his extensive collection of "magical, heart-stopping images of people in which the eyes cannot be seen," as well images in the current Photo Center NW offering, Equivalents, a competition and exhibition organized by Hunt. Mr. Hunt will also consider the unconscious in response to the SAM exhibition Ancestral Modern: Australian Aboriginal Art from the Kaplan & Levi Collection.
Tickets available at www.pcnw.org.
Presented in partnership with Photo Center Northwest.
