In 2009, the Centre Pompidou, Paris reinstalled their collection with works created exclusively by women artists from the 20th and 21st century. SAM's exhibition Elles: Women Artists from the Centre Pompidou, Paris features a selection of those works, bringing a fresh perspective on modern and contemporary art to Seattle. Join exhibition co-curators Cécile DeBray, Curator of Modern Collections at the Museé National d’Art Moderne/Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris and Marisa C. Sánchez, Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at SAM, for a discussion of these exhibitions.
