On the first Thursday of the month, Seattle’s oldest arts organization presents an afternoon of classical music performed by club members and special guests.
This month, pianist Janet Anderson and solo handbell artist Nancy Kirkner return to present a classical music concert in conjunction with the upcoming SAM exhibition Going for Gold. They will offer music of British composers, including Ralph Vaughan Williams, Herbert Howells, and Edward Elgar. Nancy Kirkner is one of only a few actively performing concert handbell soloists in the country.
Come enjoy this unique and beautiful instrument, along with solo piano works by Henry Purcell, Benjamin Britten, and Roger Quilter. You are welcome to attend all or any part of the concert.
Free with museum admission.
