This year's Members Art History Lecture series covers a rich spectrum of engaging topics. Join us as SAM’s outstanding curators explore thought-provoking topics within their areas of SAM’s permanent collection.

With one of the best collections of Chinese art in North America, the Seattle Art Museum was fortunate to have the support and dedication of the founding director Dr. Richard Fuller, who envisioned the museum as a bridge for the East and West. How did he put the museum 'on the map'? Foster Foundation Curator of Chinese Art Josh Yiu's presentation will explore triumphs and misses of his collecting career in a highly unpredictable period.
