This week, Gursharan Sidhu, a noted authority on Indian paintings who has built an outstanding collection over several decades, will give a special talk in lieu of the postponed Saturday University lecture, Journalism in Myanmar.

Sidhu's talk will connect with the two exhibitions of paintings from India now on view at the Seattle Asian Art Museum: Many Arrows from Rama’s Bow: Paintings of the Ramayana and Women’s Paintings from the Land of Sita; both of which feature works from the Gursharan and Elvira Sidhu Collection.
