SAL U: Life of an English House

Through the lens of the exhibition Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Gainsborough: The Treasures of Kenwood House, London, five renowned scholars will speak on trends in literature, history, landscape architecture, architecture, and art as exemplified by the neoclassical Kenwood House on Hampstead Heath and other great English homes such as Victorian Highclere Castle (a.k.a. “Downton Abbey”). Join us for a jaunt through history, art, the English countryside and the myriad lives that these historic houses have lived.
